All content published on the various platforms utilized by The Sunburst is created entirely by the publication’s staff. Staff members may only use AI as a resource, such as to assist with transcribing interviews, generating story ideas and checking grammar. All writing, multimedia and visuals (including illustrations and other forms of artwork) are produced authentically and claimed as the creator’s own. The use of AI to generate text and develop, manipulate and/or publish visuals for The Sunburst is prohibited. The Sunburst’s strict policy on AI is intended to promote honest reporting, authentic storytelling and student creativity.
