My name is Alexandra Cruz Rivera, and I’m both a senior at Del Oro High School and the sports editor. This is my third year with the newspaper and I enjoy covering sports and making sure that our teams receive their recognition around campus. I also enjoy writing other stories about different events and profiles on important figures around campus.

Outside of The Sunburst, I am involved in cross country, track and field, cheerleading, the Outdoor Adventure club, California Scholarship Federation, and I serve as an ASB class president.
